Inktober days 10 and 11

I wasn't feeling too great yesterday so I'm posting yesterday's doodle today. 

Today's prompt was "run", so here's a quick drawing of a cat running

I think I want to add a colourful background to this, but I'm not sure.

Day 10's prompt was "gigantic" and I tried a lot of different big animals, some prehistoric but I couldn't concentrate well enough to finish them. Eventually I managed this Whale Shark.

I'm really not happy with how it turned out, the shading looks all wrong, I didn't include the spot pattern and I tried blending some of the ink with water and it went wrong. But ech, here it is. Then I added some mermaids to make it seem truly gigantic.
